Birds: Needle Felting

4th August 2018 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

With Maggie Harling

Saturday 4th August 2018, 10am - 3.30pm

This workshop will show you different basic methods of needle felting working on commercially made felt.  Birds will be the design source of this project.  You will learn how to adapt a picture of a bird, to make it a suitable design for the technique, and transfer it onto felt ready for felting.  Choosing from the many beautiful colours of merino wool available, your design will ‘come to life’ as the day progresses.

This workshop is suitable for all ability levels.

– £35 for this full day workshop, payable in advance.

– Free refreshments provided throughout the day, but bring or buy your own lunch.

– Small materials cost of up to £5 payable to the tutor on the day of the class.

If you also book any two classes in Maggie Harling’s Machine Embroidery series,  the price of this class will be discounted to just £30!
